Possesses understanding of client needs and hiring conditions external and internal. Provides advice, expertise and assistance to all levels of personnel both internal and external on various recruiting/talent acquisition related issues. Serves as trusted member of Global TA organization driving great partnerships with internal & external customers. Provides sourcing and candidate generation to hiring managers across multiple teams, organizations and locations. To be great in this role the candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to hit all customer SLAs. Key job responsibilities

1. Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations through a deep understanding of return on investment.
2. Be able to recruit passive candidates and possess the mentality to profile people and gauge chemistry of candidates for fit and understand their motivation rather than sell a role.
3. Possess ability to screen interview candidates within the framework of the position specifications and prepare an ideal candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
4. Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management; conducts in-depth interviews of potential candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences through high offer-to-interview ratios.
5. Communicate effectively with the hiring manager and interview team to ensure preparedness during the interview process. Share and exchange information with all levels of management.
6. Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
7. Provide a great candidate experience and act as a candidate advocate.
8. Articulate in writing a plan with deliverable, timelines and a formal tracking process.
9. Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent and identification of the best talent for the available roles.

Technical Knowledge

1. Strong understanding of Java Full Stack development ecosystem/ Familiarity with Software Development Engineer (SDE) skill sets.
2. Knowledge of Data Analytics technologies and roles. Understanding of Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) requirements and Experience with Data Engineering tools and platforms.

Sourcing Expertise

1. Proven track record sourcing technical talent.
2. Experience screening Java developers and data professionals.
3. Understanding of technical interview processes.
4. Ability to assess technical competencies and qualifications.
5. Knowledge of competitive tech talent markets.

A day in the life

As a Technical Sourcer supporting Americas region, your day begins with reviewing overnight updates and aligning priorities across time zones. You'll leverage advanced Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and specialized tech platforms like GitHub, Xray search, Open Web searches to scout top talent, thus working knowledge on one of these tools will be an added advantage.

Key activities focus on pipeline building for critical roles, participating in sourcing strategy meetings, and collaborating with hiring managers to understand technical requirements. You'll craft personalized outreach messages and manage responses across different channels.

You'll be required to execute targeted sourcing campaigns for specialized tech roles, screen technical profiles, manage candidate engagement through various stages, track sourcing metrics and pipeline health, participate in NA/LATAM team syncs and update stakeholders on sourcing progress and optimize search strategies based on market feedback. Your role requires strong technical understanding to effectively evaluate candidates for roles like Software Development, Cloud Technologies, Data Analytics and other specialized roles and thus working knowledge on one of these skills will be an added advantage. You'll need to stay current with tech market trends, compensation benchmarks, and emerging skill sets.

About the team

Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) is an offshore sourcing delivery partner for WW Amazon Stores. We work to build long-term recruiting strategies to scout bar raising talent across North America, EMEA, MENA, APJC, India and LATAM.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. 1+ years of human resources experience.
2. Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates.
3. Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research.
4. Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships. Ability to source Business/tech talent, with prior experience to hire for roles like Software Development, Cloud Technologies, Data Analytics and other specialized roles and thus working knowledge on one of these skills will be an added advantage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Experience in human resources.
2. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (especially Excel).
