IN Stores Tech Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Sourcing Recruiter to play a critical role in our hiring ecosystem with primary focus on recruiting for higher volume tech job families including Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE), Data Engineer (DE), Software Development Engineer (SDE), Software Development Manager (SDM) and Technical Program Manager (TPM).

As a Sourcing Recruiter, you build business acumen, develop productive partnerships and cultivate skills to influence through data. You serve as the sourcing subject matter expert (SME) with a strong focus on hiring highly qualified candidates through in-depth profile calibration, leveraging actionable insights to improve candidate throughput and create long lasting impact to Amazon. You follow a candidate-centric model created by removing obstacles and ambiguity in the hiring process, with clear benchmarks of success.

Key job responsibilities

1. Recruit passive candidates through pro-active market research, assess them against top talent and Amazon’s culture described in our leadership principles.
2. Manage and prioritize searches to ensure well qualified and diverse talent pipelines are provided on-time, leveraging a range of metrics and key performance indicators to deliver results.
3. Leverage industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide insights to develop innovative sourcing methods, scalable candidate pipelines, complemented by proven strategies to consistently identify and attract top-tier candidates.
4. Screen and attract top talent by assessing candidate skills, qualifications, and by guiding them throughout our hiring process, setting them up for success.
5. Utilize best in class candidate engagement techniques and pre-closing strategies with candidates to build rapport and impact.
6. Collaborate cross functionally and partner with fellow Recruiters, Recruiting Coordinators, and Strategic Demand Advisors (SDA), to ensure that talent needs of customers are met.
7. Create exceptional candidate experience, efficiently organize, effectively communicate, prioritize, push back when necessary, and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, all while being customer focused and collaborative.
8. Meet/exceed key performance indicators (KPI), such as pipeline activity, conversion ratios, candidate experience, and cycle times.
9. Continuously invest time in expanding knowledge base as industry standards and trends change and shift.
10. Participate in project work focused on building operational efficiencies, continuous process improvement, improving recruiter productivity, etc.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
- Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience managing high volume as well as niche hiring
- Experience leading or participating in technology hiring events, technology mixers, and regular attendance and participation at technology meetups and technology user groups
