SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (4-day hybrid role) Location: Balbriggan, Co. Dublin (mix of on-site and remote) Hours: 4 days per week / full-time equivalent pro-rata Pay Rate: €40-€50 per hour About the Role Emerald Locums is recruiting on behalf of a leading healthcare provider for a Senior Occupational Therapist to support children with neurodevelopmental needs. This is a long-term hybrid role combining clinical work with remote administration. You'll report to the Clinical Lead and play a key role in service delivery, mentorship, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Key Responsibilities * Complete OT assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions * Administer and interpret ADOS and ADI-R assessments * Work closely with the wider MDT (SLT, Physio, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work) * Prepare clear, professional clinical reports and care plans * Support and mentor junior colleagues where appropriate * Maintain CORU-compliant documentation and contribute to service development Candidate Requirements * Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy * Registration (or eligibility) with CORU * Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience, ideally in paediatrics or neurodevelopmental services * Experience with ADOS and ADI-R essential * Strong communication, organisation and report-writing skills * Comfortable with hybrid working and time management Benefits * Competitive hourly rate: €40-€50 DOE * Long-term contract (4-day week) * Mix of on-site and remote work * Supportive MDT and ongoing CPD opportunities * Excellent work-life balance How to Apply Please send your CV and a short note outlining your experience with ADOS/ADI-R, your availability, and hourly rate expectations.
