My client is actively looking for an Automation Delivery Manager, for a permanent role based in Dublin City Centre, hybrid working options are available for this role.

As an Automation Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions using the company's automation technology stack, including RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and workflow automation (IBM Business Automation Workflow). This role involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and deployment. The solutions must meet business requirements while adhering to the company's security standards and risk management criteria.

Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management

• Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to be well positioned, to identify opportunities for technical solutions and process improvement – and to proactively identify sources of service dissatisfaction.

• Act as internal evangelist for Automation and be responsible for getting stakeholder buy-in for the implementation of initiatives, requirement specification, solution design, risk assessment and business implementation.

• Work closely with the relevant IT forums to ensure external stakeholders are aware of the status and development of the automation strategy and to ensure that the team is aligned to the overall group strategy.

• Drive greater understanding of the roles and services provided by the capability through product demonstrations, operating model presentations and demand generation workshops.

• Manage robotics adoption and influencing business stakeholders and IT.

• Control factors such as license utilisation, local data preservation and security policies for the implementation of technical solutions.
Development

• Provide architectural control over solution designs to ensure consistency and continuity across the company's delivery teams.

• Manage the milestones and timeliness to deliver high quality solutions in accordance with the agreed software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Research new technologies, organise proof of concept (POC) and manage the relationship with supplier and service providers.

• Collects information from operational teams, addresses issues, and reports to the Senior Management.

• Support existing processes and implement changes as part of a structured change control process.

• Conduct design walkthrough sessions with senior stakeholders, developers and IT representatives.
Deliveries and Methodology

• Work efficiently and quickly to turnaround business requirements and management requests.

• Support the adoption and development of the Digital Transformation Framework to ensure that best-in-class methodologies, standards and practices are embedded in the organisation.

• Develop clear strategies for the Automation Journey.

Requirements:

Essential

• 4+ years' experience working with RPA OR 5+ years of programming experience (.NET, Java etc.) is required.

• Previous team lead or manager experience.

• Experience with Workflow solutions such as IBM, Service Now, Slack.

• Ability to define project scope, create realistic timelines, manage resources effectively, and track progress against milestones.

• Proven experience in operational management, with a focus on process automation, workflow solutions, and server management.

• Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring automation solutions deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, cost savings, and risk reduction.

• Blue prism Basic Foundation OR has completed any other training in one of the leading RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).

• Bachelor of Information Technology (IT) OR related field.

• Excellent SQL skills – particularly with Microsoft SQL Server or Teradata.

• Aptitude to contribute to the evolution of methodologies and procedures in a controlled manner to continually improve a rapid and repeatable delivery channel.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce easily understood documentation. Able to explain technical detail to non-technical colleagues and interact at senior levels within the organisation.

• Understanding of process design documents and technical design documents in the RPA space.

• Knowledge and experience in Data Analytics.

• Proven experience designing, developing, and delivering solutions using IBM Business

• Ability to work to timelines and enjoy steep learning curves.

• Experience and knowledge of Business/System Analysis in a structured environment

• Demonstrate an innovative, creative approach to problem solving.

• Experience in Agile methodologies.

• Ability and willingness to blend business analysis with hands-on configuration of automated processes.

• Capacity to learn quickly and progress rapidly from theoretical exercises to real world delivery and mentoring tasks.

• Ability to understand and re-engineer business processes.
