Job Description We know that people want great value combined with an excellent experience from a bank they can trust, so we launched our digital bank, Chase UK, to revolutionise mobile banking with seamless journeys that our customers love. We're already trusted by millions in the US and we're quickly catching up in the UK – but how we do things here is a little different. We're building the bank of the future from scratch, channelling our start-up mentality every step of the way – meaning you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact.
As a Technology Resiliency Manager at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will be a part of a flat-structure organization. Your responsibilities are to deliver end-to-end cutting-edge solutions in the form of cloud-native microservices architecture applications leveraging the latest technologies and the best industry practices. You are expected to be involved in the design and architecture of the solutions while also focusing on the entire SDLC lifecycle stages.
Our Technology Resiliency team is at the heart of this venture, focused on getting smart ideas into the hands of our customers. We're looking for people who have a curious mindset, thrive in collaborative squads, and are passionate about new technology. By their nature, our people are also solution-oriented, commercially savvy and have a head for fintech. We work in tribes and squads that focus on specific products and projects – and depending on your strengths and interests, you'll have the opportunity to move between them.
Role Description The Technology Resilience Manager will have two core roles. The first part is managing Technology Resiliency Plans, their related Impact Analysis, Recovery Planning, planning and delivering on Testing requirements, and the Annual Review process. Participate in Incidents and engage teams as needed to mitigate impacts and resolve issues to minimize impact on our customers. They will need to utilize their knowledge of Customer Operations and work with cutting-edge technology squads to deliver resolutions through a pressurized environment with a cool head, strong instincts, and good judgment.
The second part of the role is to work with Application Owners to deliver market-leading Technology Resiliency plans and Crisis playbooks to ensure we know how to respond to threats and incidents that may affect our operations within a completely cloud-oriented environment.
This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals with advanced problem-solving and communication skills.
As you know, technology and financial services do not sleep, so the Global team you’d be joining supports availability on a 24/7/365 basis. We operate a follow-the-sun model, which means you’ll work your daylight hours and hand over to one of our other Resiliency Managers when your shift finishes for the day.
In return, we’ll invest in your growth and career development at Chase, as you’ll be working as part of a global network, supporting the newest and most innovative ideas in resiliency.
As part of Chase’s global team of Resiliency Managers and innovators, your work will have a massive impact, both on us as a company, as well as our customers in the UK and eventually throughout Europe.
