Join Our Team: Flutter Developer (Unpaid Internship) at Babylon Radio

Babylon Radio is a leading online platform dedicated to providing news, entertainment, and resources for the international community in Ireland. Our mission is to connect and support diverse communities, offering valuable insights and stories that reflect the multicultural landscape of Ireland.

About the Role:

As a Flutter Developer intern, you will play a key role in developing and improving our mobile app. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a live project, apply your coding skills, and gain valuable experience in mobile app development.

1. Collaborate with our development team to design, develop, and maintain our mobile app using Flutter.
2. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
3. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance.
4. Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure the best possible user experience.
5. Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest Flutter developments and best practices.
7. Assist with the deployment of updates and new features.

Requirements:

1. Students or recent graduates in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
2. Proficiency in Flutter and Dart programming.
3. A good understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them.
4. Familiarity with Git version control.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
7. Passion for learning new technologies and improving your skill set.
8. Previous experience with mobile app development (personal, academic, or professional) is a plus.

Duration: 3-6 months (flexible based on your availability).

Location: Remote/Hybrid (based in Dublin, Ireland, but open to remote candidates).

This is an unpaid internship, but you’ll gain invaluable experience and the chance to make an impact.
