Specialist in Orthodontics – St. Camillus' Hospital, Limerick

Specialists in Orthodontics are required to join the multidisciplinary team to provide complex orthodontic care, in partnership with the HSE

Job responsibilities:

• To provide complex orthodontic care for patients who have been determined to be eligible for HSE orthodontic treatment under the Modified IOTN Eligibility Guidelines

• Monitor patients’ progress and adjust appliances to ensure optimal treatment results

• Provide preventive and interceptive orthodontic care

The Candidate:

• Be registered in the Register of Dentists of Ireland or be entitled to be so registered

• Be registered in the Register of Dental Specialists for Ireland, division of Orthodontics, or be entitled to be so registered

• Have satisfactory knowledge of the administrative aspects of Orthodontic Services

• Possess a high standard of professional knowledge and have had satisfactory experience in Orthodontics

• Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and administrative capacity) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
