Permanent Whole-Time Post UCC wishes to appoint a Director of Finance Operations. Reporting to the Chief Financial & Operating Officer, the Director of Finance Operations role is responsible for overseeing and managing key financial processes for the University, including Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll, Accounts Receivable (AR), Student Fees, the Financial Management System (Agresso) and for the Finance Office (AGRESSO) Helpdesk. This role ensures financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while optimising systems and processes and leading a team of finance professionals. The Director will collaborate with senior leadership to support financial decision-making and strategy implementation. The role will have authority over Finance Operations, ensuring they align with corporate strategy and best practices. The incumbent will identify opportunities to streamline financial workflows, automate manual processes and enhance system efficiency. Appointment may be made on the Senior Admin III Salary Scale: €90,997 - €128,933 (Scale B) / €86,446 - €122,489 (Scale A). Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
