Senior Radiographer - Ultrasound Purpose of the Role The purpose of this post is to support the Clinical Specialist Ultrasound Radiographers & Consultant Radiologists in the delivering of the Ultrasound Service To deliver a quality patient focussed radiographic service and be responsible for the day to day service in an assigned area of Radiography. Essential Criteria: Bachelor of Radiography for Diagnostic Radiography or possess the Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent. Be registered on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU. On appointment practitioners must maintain live annual registration on the relevant division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU once initial registration is secured. Have 3 years fulltime post qualification clinical experience and have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office Possess a recognized postgraduate qualification in Ultrasound as recognised by the IIRRT and 3 years clinical experience in Ultrasound How to Apply & Informal Enquiries Applications for this post must be accompanied by a cover letter, setting out relevant experience that illustrates how the essential criteria listed above is met.
