The Job:

We are currently working with one of Irelands leading FMCG's to hire a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join their team in West Dublin. As an Operations Supervisor, you will ensure the efficient management and control of warehouse and transport operations, contributing to budgetary and service level goals. You will provide reliable service to customers while meeting all legal requirements and overseeing the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Management:Oversee warehouse operations in line with company policies and vision.
- Operational Oversight:Manage receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance activities.
- Space Utilization:Optimize warehouse layout for efficient space usage.
- Collaboration:Work with 3rd party hauliers and coordinate operational policies and procedures.
- Compliance:Ensure adherence to warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation.
- Health & Safety:Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security.
- Stock Control:Manage stock to minimize loss and damages.
- Client Relations:Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Team Management:Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and evaluate performance.
- Reporting:Produce regular reports and statistics on warehouse activities.
- Customer Focus:Understand and align with customer needs and business commitments.
- Continuous Improvement:Identify and implement systems improvements and process changes.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in warehouse and transport management.
- Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
- Ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of warehousing KPIs.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage staff effectively.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
