We are currently seeking a Proposals Development Associate to join our diverse and dynamic team. What you will be doing Participate & Lead the development, support and on-going maintenance (including training) of all costing tools and associated modules. Support Proposals & Client Contract Services in the delivery of proposals, contracts and change orders Recognize, exemplify, understand, and adhere to ICON's values which center around our commitment to People, Clients, and Performance. To ensure the operational effectiveness of Proposals & Client Contract Services through development, maintenance, and training responsibilities applicable to systems and analysis. Work with other ICON Regions and divisions to develop and maintain the Fusion pricing tool. Maintain/participate in the development, implementation and improvement of current & new systems, tools, and processes. Identify future needs and propose methods to best utilize technology to improve the efficiency of the department Proactively assist in the identification of training and development requirements of potential users of bidding systems and tools Provide initial and ongoing training and support to all potential users of bidding systems and tools Support the team in delivering high quality client-focused proposals, budgets and client grids for new business opportunities within given timeframe Train and mentor Systems Analysts as appropriate. Assist the Directors, Proposals and Client Contracts Services in developing and improving training and educational materials for Proposal Development Associates and Contract Analysts Contribute to the development of processes and tools to improve the accuracy and quality of proposals and contracts Assist with continuous departmental process improvements and participate in special projects periodically assigned, in addition to day-to-day duties Comply with ICON administrative, training and human resources policies Your profile Bachelor's degree or equivalent Prior experience in pharmaceutical / CRO industry or equivalent Prior experience in proposal development, contract/change order development, outsourcing (Sponsor) and/or relevant related experience/qualifications Prior experience in managing projects (small & large; managing the end to end process from initial user requirements, through development, testing, training and release - plus ongoing maintenance). Good understanding of industry cost drivers Excellent communication and organizational skills Must be a self-starter, pro-active and professional with an ability to function in a high-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able to work independently, be highly motivated and a strong team player The ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
