As an Account Associate, reporting to the Senior Strategic Account Manager for Ireland, you’ll be at the forefront of driving new business opportunities and expanding our network of employer partners. Your work will involve extensive research, outreach, and the organisation of impactful events. This role will form an integral part of the lead generation function within the UK&I Partnerships team and is perfect for someone who is eager to grow their career while making a tangible impact. ABOUT GENERATION Generation is a charity in Ireland with the mission to support people facing significant and multiple barriers to employment into life‑changing careers they otherwise could not access. We achieve this with a unique methodology of profession‑specific skills bootcamp training, focussed on in‑demand careers (specifically in the tech, healthcare and green sectors), with extensive, ongoing pastoral support and matchmaking to employer partners. The charity is part of a network of Generation charities launched globally in 2015, and has grown quickly to become the world’s largest demand‑led employment initiative. We have placed >100,000 people into roles, working with over 4,000 employer partners to date across 16 countries and 26 professions. Since launching in Ireland in 2020, we have trained more than 600 people. Our work focuses on supporting those from diverse groups facing barriers to desirable employment. For these learners, we have achieved an industry‑leading c. 70% job placement rate with learners now placed at >200 employers. On this journey, we have implemented an education‑employment initiative completely new to the Irish skilling ecosystem with sector‑leading results. We have secured transformative corporate philanthropic funding from Microsoft, Verizon, JPMorganChase Charitable Foundation, Indeed, LinkedIn, Bank of America, Accenture, and more. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead Generation & Event Management - Market Research & Targeting: Dive deep into the Irish markets to identify key employers in the technology and green job sectors. Leverage tools like Talent Neuron and LinkedIn to pinpoint high‑potential partners. - Outreach & Relationship Building: Proactively reach out to a high volume of potential employer partners, securing meetings and creating connections that will be passed to our Senior Strategic Account Manager. - Event Leadership: Organise and lead industry events, collaborating with employer partners and Generation alumni to create inspiring and informative experiences for learners. - Networking: Attend and represent Generation at national networking events, expanding our reach and bringing more prospective employers into our pipeline. - Collaborate with B2B Marketing Team: Lead on the acquisition of new relevant contacts using a programme‑specific approach. Partner Vacancy Support - Vacancy Coordination: Support the Placement Manager with incoming employer partner vacancies by ensuring suitable candidates are put forward and that high‑quality CVs are submitted. - Graduate Support: Support the Placement Manager with job readiness and interview preparation support to graduates as required. Data Management & Tech Tool Optimisation - Data Management: Update and manage employer information in databases/CRM systems (Salesforce/Outreach), ensuring accuracy and accessibility of data. - Improvement in Data: Help drive improvements in data collection and reporting by rolling out new tools and processes. - Data Integrity: Identify and address data discrepancies, such as duplicate accounts, and perform data cleansing as needed. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES - Self Apply Opportunities: Beyond new partnerships, identify live self‑apply opportunities for our learners and share these through the appropriate channels. - Process Improvement: Work on projects and collaborate across teams to enhance our employer sourcing, onboarding, and account management processes. - Project Coordination: Help coordinate projects outside of BAU, including tracking timelines, managing deliverables, and ensuring projects stay on schedule. - Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks such as preparing reports, maintaining employer records, scheduling meetings, and organising documents related to employer accounts. ABOUT YOU - Experience in a Sales & Marketing function, with lead generation responsibilities. - Stakeholder Management Skills: Confidence in managing relationships with senior stakeholders and strong negotiation abilities. - Exposure to using ATS/CRM systems: Such as Salesforce, Excel, or other systems. - Start‑Up Mentality: A background in a start‑up or entrepreneurial environment, with experience working remotely or independently.
