Job Description Summary: The Sales Operations Analyst I is a key member of Global Commercial Operations, specializing in advanced reporting, Salesforce data management, and dashboard development (Salesforce, BI, Tableau) reporting directly into the Sr. Sales Operations Manager. This role requires exceptional Excel skills for data analysis and visualization. You will be responsible for supporting ICON Business Unit Requests and a wide range of sales reporting needs across the organization, with a strong focus on identifying opportunities for process and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities: Excel Excellence: Utilize advanced Excel skills (including formulas and pivot tables) to analyze and visualize sales data. Salesforce Data Management: Maintain, optimize, and ensure the integrity of Salesforce data for accurate reporting and analytics. Dashboard Development: Design, build, and enhance dashboards in Salesforce, Tableau, and other BI tools to deliver actionable insights to sales and commercial leadership. Reporting: Develop, automate, and distribute recurring sales reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) covering performance by service area, pipeline status, and win/loss analysis. ICON Business Unit Requests: Support and manage requests from ICON Business Units, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of data, reports, and insights. Sales Analytics: Analyze sales results against targets, identify trends, and provide recommendations to improve performance. Opportunity Management: Support the compilation and analysis of the Weekly Opportunities Roadmap and manage RFP targets. Forecasting: Collaborate with commercial and operational leaders to create and refine service area forecasts. Optimization: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and optimization within sales operations, reporting, and data management. Ad-hoc Analysis: Respond to ad-hoc sales reporting and data requests from across the enterprise. Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree (or local equivalent) in a related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in sales operations, business analytics, or a similar role preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential. Experience with Salesforce (reporting, dashboards, data management), Tableau and/or other BI dashboard tools is highly desirable. Skills & Competencies: Excel Mastery: Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and advanced formulas. Salesforce Expertise: Strong skills in Salesforce reporting and dashboard creation. Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable working in a matrix environment and navigating ambiguity. Commercially astute, with a problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement and optimization.
