This role is based in a well-structured and organised depot where youll enjoy early starts and early finishes, with no backloading upon return. Working five days over seven, you can expect to be scheduled for every second weekend. Each working day begins with organising three pallets one each from the cold, chill, and ambient warehouses. Every product is clearly numbered to align with your delivery schedule. Before leaving the depot, you'll break down and organise your deliveries to ensure a smooth, structured day on the road. Youll typically deliver to 812 customer locations per shift, depending on the route assigned. All trucks are fitted with tail lifts, and trolleys are provided to support efficient and safe deliveries. The role primarily covers the Leinster region and involves navigating a range of urban and rural delivery points. Candidates must hold a valid EU drivers licence, EU CPC, and EU tachograph card. Experience driving in Ireland or the UK in a right-hand steer truck on the left side of the road is essential. Confidence on Irish roads and sound knowledge of road safety regulations are key to succeeding in this role. The recruitment process involves a straightforward and supportive selection journey: a driving assessment (pass/fail), completion of a health screening questionnaire, and an interview with the Transport Manager. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are crucial, as drivers act as brand ambassadors, providing a vital link between the business and its customers.
