What you’ll do
- Define the technical strategy for deploying hardware-accelerated neural networks into safety-critical automotive applications.
- Work with global teams of engineers and architects to design, optimise, and deliver scalable software solutions.
- Build tooling to train, validate, and deploy neural networks on advanced accelerators.
- Shape runtime environments to meet real-time and functional safety requirements.
- Guide and mentor engineering teams, influencing design decisions without heavy hierarchy.
- Support safety analysis and certification processes.
- Help commercial teams assess costs, priorities, and delivery timelines.
What we’re looking for
- Experience building software for safety-critical applications, with knowledge of standards like ISO 26262, ISO 21448, or similar.
- Background in GPU, NPU, or accelerator driver development, especially in memory management and execution synchronisation.
- Strong C/C++ skills and experience with embedded platforms (e.g., INTEGRITY, QNX, or VxWorks).
- A solid foundation in computer system fundamentals and a strong eagerness to learn.
- Experience in requirements analysis, architecture definition, and documentation.
- Collaborative style, with the ability to influence and guide diverse teams.
