To be familiar with and to adhere to all company policies and procedures. Provide patients with quality services and manage the way in which the nursing staff cares for patients. Assess and evaluate patient conditions, and plan, implement, provide, and document patient care in a manner that follows professional nursing standards and outlined practices. Ensure clinical risk assessments are completed as required. Ensure that current legal requirements for the safe administration and storage of medicines are adhered to in accordance with best practice. Manage a designated workload. Have a sound knowledge of clinical standards and participate in patient care audits. Delegate and supervise the work of other staff grades within their role's remit. Work closely with patients and the interdisciplinary care team with person-centred care the goal. Demonstrate a high degree of motivation and assume responsibility for their own professional development and contribute to the development of others. Desirable Criteria Must have undertaken formal recognised post-registration education relevant to this area of specialist practice at level 8 or above.
