At Dornanwe are currently recruiting for IT Desktop Support Engineer - Level 1 to work in our IT department in our Cork Head Office. Your day to day will include: Active Directory administration (password reset, group access) Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software Troubleshooting printer and phone issues Troubleshooting networking and connection issues Setup of new users and also managing user leaver process Knowledge of servers, networking and cloud solutions IT Setup of new projects offices and periodic site visits Ensure helpdesk tickets are kept at a manageable level Knowledge of Teams, SharePoint and Microsoft Application support General IT oversite within a hybrid office setting Ability to manage tasks and small projects What we are looking for: Ability to prioritize workload Recognizes own strengths and weaknesses and committed to ongoing development Acceptance of responsibility and accountability Work as a team player within the IT Department Willingness to take ownership of issues or tasks and see them through to completion Willingness to travel to site periodically Experience with desktop hardware and software (operating systems and MS Office) Why Dornan?
