The software engineers of our team are building incredibly complex web applications and workflow engines which operate at huge scale. These allow our customers to simplify the internet, automate network remediation and deployment and improve performance for customers. Key job responsibilities
A Software Developer Engineer within the Network Impact Reduction at AWS is responsible for providing our customers world class tools to ensure maximum network availability. You will Collaborate with the Network Engineering and Operations teams to automate and invent new ways of operating Amazon's Next-Generation Network.
You'll contribute to the development of the next generation of dynamic network automation tools. You'll also responsible for other automation tools used both by network engineers across the whole AWS and Data Center Operators to coordinate physical remediation.
You'll be expected to create and review software design documentation and mentor junior engineers.
Collaborate with the Network Engineering teams to ensure fast, smooth roll-out of new designs and products.

completion- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
