The Inn at Dromoland are recruiting for a Full Time Resort Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The post will primarily be based at the Inn at Dromoland. Please see a brief job description below. To assist the Manager of Resort Maintenance with implementing and monitoring an effective maintenance system for the resort. To ensure that all work on the daily maintenance list is carried and marked as complete in Snapfix To be involved in maintenance duties in a hands on capacity. To ensure that you conform to, and all of your team conform to safe operating procedures and to Health & Safety Legislation. In conjunction with the Manager of Resort Maintenance, prioritize, plan and co-ordinate all work tasks to be done using Snapfix. To liaise with Senior Management in relation to refurbishment work; redecorating. To manage and roster the maintenance team, ensuring the hotel has adequate cover. To work closely with the Manager of Resort Maintenance and the General Manager on all development projects. To liaise with maintenance suppliers/contractors. To maintain a par stock level of items such as light bulbs, fuses and batteries, and other necessary maintenance supplies To test weekly the following items: a)Fire Alarm Bell Tests b)Emergency Lighting c)Fire Fighting Equipment Checked Ideal candidate needs to meet the following criteria: Previous experience in a similar role. Must be an interactive person who is a good motivator with a positive can-do attitude. Strong and positive team leader. Must be well organised. Knowledge of snapfix desirable but not required. Must be available to work five days over seven.
