Scope of the Role: We are looking for a Fire Protection Fitter to join our Sustaining department within our Fire Protection division. Operative will drive a Sustaining works Van. This role will be mostly based in the Dublin, Leinster region pending availability of work. Key Responsibilities of the Role: Experience in installation of various Sprinkler systems Planning and executing small to medium sized jobs which involves interfacing with clients. Surveying works and Co-ordinating with design team Flexible to travel around the country. Knowledge in all types of sprinkler systems. Able to work on own initiative Full drivers' licence. (optional). Liaise and build relationships with clients. Competent in draining / refilling sprinkler systems. Competent in operating fire pumps / related fire alarms. Planning and working from sprinkler drawings. Knowledge in LPC and FM sprinkler rules. Essential Criteria for the Role: Safe Pass / manual handling Experienced sprinkler pipefitters Flexible to travel Ability to work on own initiative. Excellent communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline. National Craft Certificate Desirable Criteria: Previous experience in role or a willingness Ability to manage a job to completion / attend white board meetings.
