We are currently seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our dynamic team at the prestigious Lyrath Estate Hotel. This role offers the perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about food and eager to build their culinary career, while also supporting the smooth running of our busy kitchens. Your Responsibilities: Assist the culinary team with food preparation and basic cooking tasks. Maintain HACCP and food safety standards at all times. Ensure kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and sanitised. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including dishwashing machines and pot-washing stations. Support chefs during service, ensuring ingredients and tools are ready when needed. Rotate and store food correctly, helping with stock control and deliveries. Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver excellence in all areas of kitchen operations. ?The Ideal Candidate: Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential full training will be provided. Enthusiastic about food and hospitality, with a willingness to learn. A hard worker who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, reliable, and a strong team player with good communication skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
