Senior UX Researcher

6 month daily rate contract with view to extend

Remote anywhere in Ireland

You'll work with product, design and engineering teams to champion a user-centered approach, ensuring product decisions are backed by solid research. You'll go beyond gathering data to uncover the why behind user actions, identify new opportunities and shape the product strategy.

Role

- Lead Research Strategy: Guide the entire research process, from initial strategy to final analysis. You'll execute large-scale, complex projects using diverse methodologies.

- Advocate for Customers: Be the voice of our users, translating their needs into actionable insights that inform our roadmap. You'll also monitor market trends and competitors to ensure we stay ahead.

- Facilitate Problem-Solving: Lead sessions that move teams from assumptions to clear, user-centered problems. You'll apply the right research methods to achieve goals and identify novel product opportunities.

- Drive Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate research insights throughout the product lifecycle. You'll build strong stakeholder relationships and champion a culture of user empathy, ensuring research findings drive informed decisions.

Requirment

- Experience: 5+ years of recent user research experience in product development. Experience with AI or healthcare products is a plus.

- Portfolio: A portfolio of case studies showcasing your impact on web applications across various industries.

- Skills: Experience leading complex research using diverse methods (usability testing, task analysis, etc.). You've worked in multi-disciplinary teams and influenced business strategy with executive-level stakeholders.

- Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of front-end UI development to facilitate informed conversations about technical feasibility.

- Agile Mindset: Experience in an Agile environment using issue tracking tools to manage your work.

- Passion: A passion for creating easy-to-use, delightful user experiences and a love for talking to users to learn how they work.

- Strategic Thinking: Innate ability to understand complex systems and problems, and a strategic mindset that you can apply practically.
