SENIOR PHYSICAL DESIGN ENGINEER (CPU Cores)

The Role:

Join our dynamic CPU Core design team as a Senior Silicon Design Engineer. You will work with experts to drive the physical design of high-speed microprocessors using advanced CMOS technologies, contributing to innovative projects shaping future computing.

The Ideal Candidate:

We seek a team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, eager to learn and solve challenging problems collaboratively. A strong analytical mindset will help you contribute to industry-leading microprocessors and impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drive the design and implementation of large design blocks from concept through tape-out.

2. Perform synthesis for high-speed designs and lead Place and Route, analyzing results for optimization.

3. Collaborate with RTL/Logic designers and cross-functional teams for seamless integration and problem solving.

Preferred Skills:

1. Understanding of Logic Design, Synthesis, Timing Closure, Circuit Design, Electrical Closure, and Memory Compiler workflows.

2. Proficiency in RTL architecture, microarchitecture, Physical Design CAD tools, and scripting languages (Perl, Python).

3. Deep understanding of high-speed microprocessor architectures and sub-micro technologies.

4. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or related fields.
