Post Summary: The School of Medicine, Discipline of Public Health & Primary Care is seeking to recruit a GHAP Research Development Project Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative approaches to win new research opportunities of scale and strategic importance. The postholder will identify and develop new research funding opportunities and directly support high-level and complex grant application. The postholder will be tasked with scanning and assessing the research funding landscape to identify strategic research funding opportunities and developing and executing programmes to target and win these awards. Context The GHAP Research Development Project Manager will enable the university to significantly increase the scale of external funding secured for Climate and Health research. and to assist in the development and implementation of any future research Strategy. This position presents an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual, with experience of research management to make a significant contribution to the future of Climate and Health research in TCD through its next stage of development. The successful candidate will be a results-focused individual who can operate effectively within this emerging research environment. Post status: Specific Purpose Contract The specific purpose for this post is to provide project manager support for the duration of the research funded GHAP project Hours of Post: 35 hours per week Salary: This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-6), Salary Scale (€68,181 - €107,959 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
