Job Specification Chef de Partie Position: Chef de Partie Location: Scannells Bar, Clonakilty, Co. Cork Working Hours: Lunchtime service only, Tuesday to Saturday Salary:From €16.50 per hour Start Date: September 2025 About Us: We are a well-established gastro pub known for our high-quality, freshly prepared food and welcoming atmosphere. Our menu features a mix of traditional pub favourites and creative seasonal dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. We are now seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team and help us continue delivering excellent food and service. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the required standard during lunchtime service Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations Maintain a clean and organised workstation at all times Assist in receiving and storing deliveries correctly Contribute to menu development and daily specials where appropriate Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation to minimise waste Follow all HACCP and food safety guidelines strictly Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Chef de Partie role within a professional kitchen Valid HACCP certification is essential Working level of English (spoken and written) to understand kitchen procedures and communicate effectively Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the kitchen Benefits: Daytime shifts only work-life balance with evenings off Opportunity to work with fresh, locally sourced produce Supportive team environment Potential for career development within the kitchen brigade Staff meals available How to Apply: Please send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience.
