A Taste of The Job:
We’re looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Irish Cream Liqueur manufacturing and bottling facility in Abbeyleix. Working on a 2-cycle shift pattern over a 5-day week, you’ll play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. Your efforts will directly contribute to the creation of Ireland’s finest cream liqueurs and country creams.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in manufacturing and bottling equipment.
3. Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
4. Install and maintain electrical components for machinery.
5. Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and equipment failures.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes.
7. Collaborate with maintenance team members and other functional teams to optimise facility operations.
8. Maintain accurate records of repairs, installations, and maintenance activities.
A Bit About You:
1. Valid certified electrician qualifications.
2. Minimum 1-year experience as a Maintenance Electrician or in a similar role, preferably in a food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
3. In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
4. Experience with PLC systems, motor controls, and variable frequency drives.
5. Familiarity with HVAC systems and environmental controls.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
8. Willingness to work shifts as required by production demands.
9. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to food safety standards.
