Mechanical Construction Manager We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Construction Manager for a leading Mechanical engineering services contractor on a pharmaceutical project in Athlone. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of mechanical process piping, packages as well as assisting and leading in the management of site safety with the project and safety teams. Responsibilities: Lead and support site safety in collaboration with the safety and project teams. Manage site quality assurance with input from the QA Manager. Assist in maintaining and tracking the project schedule. Oversee and control project costs including labour, materials, plant and variations. Supervise day-to-day site operations and ensure progress aligns with project goals. Manage the on-site team and coordinate across all disciplines. Monitor subcontractor performance, progress and manpower levels. Conduct weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and package leads. Manage snagging and punch lists in support of QA/QC. Report labour hours for direct staff and subcontractors. Lead site meetings and reviews throughout the project lifecycle. Support project close-out including documentation, handover and resource relocation. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Mechanical Construction Manager role or similar. Trade background or relevant third-level qualification in engineering or construction. Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors and construction programmes effectively. This Mechanical Construction Manager will need a strong knowledge of the complete design and construction lifecycle. Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale construction projects. Full, clean drivers licence. Benefits: Salary: €75,000 - €90,000 DOE. Annual Bonus. Pension. Car Allowance.
