Our client is a leading, boutique Tax firm based in Dublin 4. With their expertise, experience, and qualifications, they pride themselves on having one lead contact for their clients and the knowledge to identify and provide practical solutions to any tax issues that arise.
Their clients are drawn from the entire business spectrum and include large corporates, family-owned businesses, professional partnerships, medical consultancy, high net worth individuals, and business executives. They also provide taxation services to clients of accountancy and legal firms.
They are seeking to recruit a qualified tax professional. The role will suit somebody seeking to develop their tax experience in a specialist tax firm. The firm will offer a generous starting salary and benefits package.
The Role:
1. Preparation of tax computations and returns to ensure compliance with corporate and personal tax filing deadlines. Liaising with clients in respect thereof.
2. Preparing and submitting VAT and PAYE returns.
3. Engaging in consultancy projects with more senior staff, as required.
4. Liaising with Revenue in respect of client matters.
5. Preparation of accounts for professionals such as medical consultants and entertainers.
6. Assisting with Companies Office filings and Company Secretarial assignments.
The Person:
1. Qualified AITI.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in tax.
3. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to work on your own initiative and be organised to meet deadlines.
