Tax Senior | Growing Firm | South Dublin/Central
Our client is a well-established and respected firm of Accountants and Tax Advisors based in Dublin South/Central.
The firm has a vibrant client base across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, tech, retail, and not-for-profits. They are the Irish member firm of a significant International Network.
To facilitate continued growth and ensure top-tier client service, the firm is seeking a Tax Senior to join their team.
The firm’s leadership is committed to independent growth and has no interest in being acquired or seeking private equity backing.
The Role
Responsibilities of the position include:
1. Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate income tax clients including preparation of tax computations and returns and ensuring clients’ returns and tax payments are correct and filed on time.
2. Working closely with the Tax Manager and Tax Partner on specific tax consultancy assignments.
3. Work as part of a team and liaise with other departments, including audit, corporate finance, and corporate recovery as required.
4. Assist with on-going tax training throughout the office.
5. Responsible for managing and reviewing work of junior staff.
About You
The Skills
To be successful in this role, you will likely have the following skills:
1. CTA/ACA/ACCA Qualified, with circa 3 years of experience in tax.
2. Experience working across a variety of tax heads.
3. Solid understanding of Irish tax legislation and tax compliance obligations for clients.
4. Ability to mentor junior team members.
