Senior Practice Accountant | SME Firm | Dublin South Central

A fast growing and ambitious Accounting, Audit & Tax practice based in South/ Central are currently looking to recruit an experienced and career-focused accountant to join the team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress very quickly within the firm. Reporting to and working closely with the Partner the role will involve:
Responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of clients which will include the following:
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for SME businesses
- Assisting with the preparation of audit and audit exempt files to monitoring review standard
- Bookkeeping & payroll
- Preparing VAT returns
- Assisting with company formations and new business tax registrations
- Preparing income tax and corporation tax returns
- Filing Companies Registration Office returns
- Management accounts
- Projections, loan applications & grant applications
- Supervision and mentoring of other staff
The successful candidate must have at least three years practice experience with a regulated accounting firm, have a clear focus on developing a long-term career in Practice and be a member of a recognized Accounting or Tax Institute.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:
Ideally candidates will have familiarity with the following software packages:
- Relate accounts production & Drive
- Receipt bank/Autoentry/Sage/Surf/Quickbooks/Xero
- Thesaurus payroll
- Core & Ros essential
Candidates that can demonstrate strong commercial acumen awareness will have a distinct advantage.
