Catalyx is seeking a Product Manager to join our team.

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Vision Systems Engineer to join our team, where you will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and implementation of advanced machine vision systems.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager passionate about building products that make an impact to people’s lives. You will join a dynamic and high-performance environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and deliver the Catalyx OpenLineTM and OpenStationTM product families in alignment with the organisation’s vision and strategy, to achieve market penetration and revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying and understanding market needs and translate them into the delivery of a differentiated product to market. You will work closely with our high performing software, engineering, pre-sales, and sales teams across Catalyx to successfully manage our established product management life cycle which drives products throughout their lifecycle from conception to end-of-life.
Responsibilities:
- Set the product strategy with the CPTO, own the product roadmap and drive this strategy, tactics and execution for the product development for the Catalyx OpenLineTM and OpenStationTM product families
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive revenue growth
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
- Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on the product
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure a clear line for market feedback
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of the marketplace; work with Sales and Marketing to maintain market and competitor research and recommend action accordingly
- Drive product launches including working with Marketing and the Executive team
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements
- Scope and prioritize activities based on increasing business value and customer ROI
- Work closely with the Design & Development team to deliver products and solutions with high-quality and quick time-to-market resources
- Deliver internal monthly product updates on all aspects of the selected portfolio
- Present product plans across the organization
- Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed
- Deliver customer documentation for the portfolio including but not limited to functional specifications, customer facing documentation, sales collateral and product update news
- Work with commercial associates and sales leaders to develop and execute targeted dreamlog campaigns
- Understand the product thoroughly and act as the SME to pre-sales, sales, and engineering resources across Catalyx
- Develop GTM plans and pricing & deployment models for direct customers, contract manufacturers, systems integrators, line builders, and OEMs
Skills Requirements:
- Be educated to Graduate level or equivalent, ideally in a business or technology related subject
- Have a minimum of five years commercial experience including two years where responsibility was held for managing product life cycles and the implementation of new products within a technical environment or similar
- Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
- Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- Have a good understanding of Agile software development methodologies
- Previous experience of commercial negotiation
- A good understanding of business applications such as CRM and ERP
- Good knowledge of Internet technologies and proven ability to understand and communicate technical functionality
- Demonstrably good commercial acumen and high level of numeracy
- Enthusiasm and ability to work with minimum supervision in an environment with tight deadlines
- Organizational skills, demonstrating the ability to establish plans of action to effectively ensure achievement of results
- Able to influence and drive teamwork to meet key milestones and overcome challenges
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines including in house Engineering, Operations, Quality and Product Development, Sales, Marketing, partners and 3rd party contractors
- Ability to effectively use AI tools for market research, competitive analysis, and other areas for increased productivity and quality
Additional Preferences:
- Previous experience of working for a company delivering high value technical solutions to the life sciences industries
- Good understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Good understanding of Computer System Validation (GAMP V)
- Good understanding of regulations applicable to life sciences industries including 21 CFR Part 11
- Experience managing products with an AI component
