Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry (0.7 FTE) Trinity College Dublin is seeking an Assistant Professor in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The primary purpose of this post is to contribute to teaching, research, and administrative activities in the School.
The successful applicant will have an established reputation in teaching and research in the field of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and will be expected to contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
Job Description The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences currently offers undergraduate pharmacy education, postgraduate degrees by research, and several taught postgraduate courses.
Qualifications Required: Excellent academic record and a doctoral degree in pharmaceutical chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, or a related discipline. Ideally, the candidate will have a degree in pharmacy and be entitled to register as a pharmacist in the EU.
Post status: Specific Purpose Contract. The specific purpose of this position is to cover the teaching, assessment, and curriculum development work of the original post holder whilst they are seconded to a Head of School post.
Hours of Work: Part-Time, 0.7 Full Time Equivalent. Salary: This appointment will be made on the pro-rated 0.7 FTE Assistant Professor Salary Scale.
