Senior SW Test Development- Test Engineer – Automotive

Who We Are:

We are launching a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team will play a critical role in our digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM's global Product and Technology organization.

SiriusXM's new Dublin facility will focus on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in this hub will develop and implement best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM's streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.

What you'll do:

1. Execute test cases and report issues (analyze logs and submit tickets) in the SXM test framework. This is a test automation and test engineer position, not a software developer role.

What you'll need:

1. 3-5+ years' experience as a Test Engineer
2. Experience in Test Framework
3. Experience in test automation
4. Solid knowledge of modern C++
5. Knowledge and application of at least one programming language
6. Knowledgeable of Object-Oriented Programming concepts
7. Experience with tools - Jira, Git, Charles
8. Experience in Consumer or Automotive Client Application
9. Experienced in Tools for test automation development
10. Application of software development life cycle concepts

Requirements and General Skills:

1. History working with automation frameworks, analyzing logs, and reporting issues
2. Tester's Mindset - Strong testing acumen and technical know-how to automate work
3. Troubleshooting - Exceptional ability to isolate and troubleshoot technical issues across the full technology stack using automated testing methodologies
4. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
