We're working with a leading tech innovator in Cork to recruit a Legal Compliance Specialist for an exciting 3-month contract, with a strong potential for extension. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in the fast-paced world of data privacy and law enforcement compliance.

- Pay Rate: €19.89 per hour (PAYE)
- Hours: 39 hours per week
- Duration: Initial 3-month contract - extension highly likely
- Working Model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 remote
As part of a specialised Privacy & Law Enforcement Compliance team, you'll process and respond to law enforcement requests for customer data and handle requests from customers for their personal information. You'll be applying robust data protection and privacy principles while ensuring the organisation's legal obligations are met with speed and accuracy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and processing official requests for information from law enforcement agencies and customers.
- Conducting searches across internal systems and retrieving relevant data.
- Preparing and issuing responses using pre-approved templates.
- Identifying and escalating non-standard or urgent (exigent) requests to senior team members.
- Logging all activity and exceptions accurately in internal case management systems.
The right candidate will have;
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good judgement - able to identify non-standard or time-sensitive requests and escalate appropriately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, professional, and able to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Understanding of data protection and privacy principles (e.g. GDPR).
- Fluency in English is essential; additional languages are a bonus.
