Commercial Operations - let's introduce ourselves

Volvo Car Ireland is the National Sales Company, part of Volvo Car Corporation. Within Volvo Car Ireland, the Commercial Operations Team is looking for a talented individual to join our team, in the role of Aftersales Performance Manager. You will be reporting directly to the Commercial Operations Director. In this dynamic role, you are the driver of our aftersales business and performance.

What you'll do

You will work closely with our Volvo retailer network, with regular retailer visits, performance management and ensuring targets are fulfilled. You will identify opportunities, develop strategic offers and motivate/coach the network towards achievement of parts & accessory sales objectives.

Your core responsibilities include:

1. Service business operations commercial agenda
2. Development and implementation of Parts, Accessories & Service Offers
3. Product pricing strategy
4. Retailer bonus scheme definition, follow-up and delivery
5. Establishing working partnership with Service retailers
6. Track retailer performance based on commercial service KPI’s
7. Improvement identification based on retailers' inputs during regular Field visits
8. Service retailer quality KPIs monitoring
9. Manage 3rd Party partnerships, e.g. Wurth, Easygo, Bestdrive, Outsourc etc.
10. Service Agreements and Extended Warranty strategy & pricing
11. Work with the marketing team for campaign creation & activity management
12. Digital content management

What you'll bring

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, the desire to work as efficiently as possible, and have excellent communication skills. You will be process-oriented, have excellent attention to detail, be structured and logical in your approach with the agility required to embrace change. You will be proactive with a commercial mindset in a changing environment. Ideally, you will have worked in the automotive industry and can demonstrate knowledge in the aftersales operations.

Skills Required:

1. Advanced English communication skills
2. Proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
3. Strong communication and presentation skills
4. Comprehensive IT skills (word, excel, PowerPoint)
5. Retailer / Dealer operations and service experience
6. A strong commercial focus with proven track record of delivering profitable business growth
7. Experience in project management techniques applied to implement actions designed to deliver performance improvement or change
8. Able to deploy analytical skills and tools to identify the underlying causes of performance issues and trends
9. Excellent negotiating skills
10. Self-motivated, excellent team working skills, resilient and enthusiastic.
11. Business related degree would be desirable
