Cpl Healthcare are delighted to announce that we are actively recruiting Social Care Workers for a full-time permanent position in Kyle, Kilkenny.
Our client is dedicated to supporting people with physical / intellectual disabilities, autism, and other support needs to live an ordinary life, a life like any other in a community-based environment.
Our client works across 12 residential communities and 4-day services nationwide, offering unique, person-centred care that transforms lives. We are seeking experienced, enthusiastic, and passionate professionals to join a brilliant team of social and care staff in supporting adults toward independent living and community integration.
Requirements:
Hold a minimum of a Level 7 on the QQI Framework – BA in Social Care Studies or equivalent qualification in Heath or Social Care.
Have1 years’ experienceof working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
Experience working with challenging behaviours
Strong working knowledge of legislation in place to protect vulnerable adults
Applicants must hold a full, clean manual driver's licenseandavailability of own car for this post.
An understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
An ability to follow, evaluate and contribute to the further development of plans and methods to meet the ongoing needs of individuals supported.
Effective interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Proficient IT skills relevant to the role, to include Microsoft Office Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams.
