AMD together we advance_ Job Description The ideal candidate will be passionate about understanding how things work, an inquisitive and creative thinker, maniacally organized, questioning of the status quo, relentless in driving towards resolution, and have attention to detail. Lastly, he/she must be organizationally savvy with superior communication skills as the role will partner with multiple teams and organizations. Job Role and Responsibilities: The business process specialist is responsible for facilitating project development and progress from initiation to completion. They must be experienced in project design and planning, collaboration and coordination with designated teams, and delivery of results within deadlines and budget constraints. The role is responsible for oversight of team members, setting deadlines, designating assignments, and monitoring every stage of project progress. They must be skilled in tracking progress, summarizing results, and communicating with management, clients, and other stakeholders. Lastly, the role will be responsible for business process mapping, documentation, workshop management & facilitation. Required Experience and Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in a related field of expertise is preferred, as well as a minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or a similar role. Knowledge of industry best practices and processes is also expected. The business process specialist will report to department heads or relevant managers. Key Responsibilities: The business process specialist is responsible for coordinating and leading planning sessions for project development and execution, managing staffing and other resource needs, defining project objectives and scope, conducting risk analysis, creating detailed schedules and budgets, measuring project performance and progress, managing client and other stakeholder expectations, documenting project activities, delegating project activities and duties, and engaging in continual learning to remain abreast of industry best practices. Essential Skills: The business process specialist must be proficient with industry-standard project manager tools and software, have experience with client management and internal departmental communications, and have a proven track record of successful project management. They must also have a strong technical background in the industry and possess skills such as familiarity with project management programs and processes. The ideal candidate should have the ability to set and meet project deadlines, excellent quality analysis and control, effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build and train teams, consistent conflict resolution skills, multi-tasking capability, strategic thinking and creative planning, data analytical skills, and documentation and reporting abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or PRINCE II certification is preferred. BVOP Certified Project Manager, Certified Associate in Project Management, Certified ScrumMaster. Lean six sigma. Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance .
