BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree
2. Advanced Knowledge in Linux systems administration
3. 6+ years proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, Typescript, Ruby, to build reusable tools
4. Systems engineering, site reliability experience of building and operating systems at scale
5. Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production
6. Experience writing technical documents, project plans and progress reports to leadership and to stakeholders
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
2. Experience hiring, developing and mentoring engineers
3. Experience managing scaled cloud systems with a focus on operational excellence
4. Experience working with high-availability, distributed systems and services
