Senior Client Accountant | SPVs | Financial Services | Dublin
Our client is a leading organization in their industry and they are seeking a talented and experienced candidate to join their team.
They are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an Accountant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the team in providing high-quality client service and producing service deliverables for the more complex entities and platinum clients in the team's portfolio. You will also be responsible for delivering specified deliverables to clients in accordance with internal and external deadlines.

Main Responsibilities —
- Accurately prepare primary accounting documents, accounting statements, and reports required by the client
- Ensure that all reporting deadlines are met for the client allocation and support the Client Account Manager in achieving this for the wider team
- Prepare all compliance-related filings such as CBI and tax filings
- Review accounting entries processed by Trainee and Client Accountants for the allocated portfolio
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal/external stakeholders
- Manage the audit process for the allocated clients
- Assist the Client Account Manager in reviewing the work of junior team members
- Provide support to junior team members with complex work/calculations
- Keep up-to-date with changes in local accounting and tax legislation
- Provide technical support to the team
- Support the Client Account Manager in maintaining and maximizing revenues for the team portfolio
About you —
- Professional qualification (ACCA/ACA)
- At least 1-year PQE
- Structured finance experience preferable if working on an SPV/SFS portfolio is desirable
- Analytical structured mindset with the ability to follow and build upon existing processes and ensure data is maintained with accuracy and consistency
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word is essential, along with experience of a local accounting system
- Experience in a similar role from an accounting practice background with strong client servicing skills is desirable
