We are currently seeking a Financial Accountant I to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Financial Accountant I at ICON, you will play a crucial role in financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your contributions will be integral to our financial reporting processes and will support our mission of advancing innovative treatments and therapies. The job is Hybrid - 60% office-based in our office in Leopardstown, Dunlin; 40% remote. What you will be doing: Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements. Recording and reconciling financial transactions in compliance with accounting principles. Supporting accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and vendor management. Assisting with financial analysis in decision-making processes and identify areas for improvement. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Your profile: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. 1+ years of experience in accounting or financial roles (internship experience considered). Basic understanding of accounting principles and regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
