The client –
Our client is one of the fastest growing advisory firms in Ireland, specialising in the provision of consulting, audit and tax services to leading domestic and international mid-market clients. Their clients range from growth-focused entrepreneurial businesses through to leading multi-national organisations across many sectors and operating nationally and across borders.
They are seeking a Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join their Tax business unit. The appointment will be made at either manager or senior manager level based on relevant experience of the candidate. The role will entail working with a diverse client base, with a key focus being the provision of tax advisory to FDI businesses.
The position –
The role will have the following responsibilities –
1. Managing a diverse range of corporation tax compliance cases.
2. Working with partners on M&A, diligence and reorganization assignments.
3. Preparing tax technical memorandums for advisory projects.
4. Contributing to firm wide and department initiatives, including the development of technical knowledge and training of staff.
The opportunity –
The tax team is growing at a fast but manageable pace. For the right candidate there is a defined path to Director/ Partner level with this firm.
About you –
The successful candidate will be –
1. ITI and/or ACA or ACCA qualified – 2 – 3 years pqe
2. Strong technical competence in domestic and international corporate tax matters
3. Very strong communication and organisational skills
4. Proven ability with staff development/ management
