Process Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our Engineering/Production department in Longford. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, developing optimal moulding techniques, and ensuring customer requirements are met.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement process improvements that meet or exceed customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Production Group leaders to troubleshoot processing problems.
  • Establish relationships with customers and suppliers to drive continuous improvement.
  • Solve customer-related problems and issues in conjunction with the Quality department.
Requirements
  • National Diploma in Plastics Engineering (Degree in Engineering preferred).
  • 4-5 years of experience in the injection moulding industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of Injection Mold tooling and design.
  • Familiarity with Real-time monitoring systems and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Introduce new products to the company and compile standard specifications for each process.
  • Monitor all existing production to standards specifications.
  • Perform additional duties as requested by the direct supervisor.
