As Kneat continues to expand, we are looking for an enthusiastic Program Manager to join our Operations team.
Position overview
Reporting to our Director, Business Operations & Compliance, the Program Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating a portfolio of cross-functional business projects and strategic initiatives that align with Kneat's operational and strategic goals.
The successful candidate will require a strong ability to manage interdependencies, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with Kneat's business objectives, as well as strong experience in delivering cross-functional business projects. The Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, and governance of a project program which includes companywide software implementations, ESG initiatives, R&D tax credit programs, and other strategic operations projects. It includes scoping, planning, estimating, implementation management, budget management, stakeholder management and management of multi-functional teams often spread across several global locations. Responsibilities
Some of the primary responsibilities of this role include:
· Define and manage program strategies and governance structures, ensuring effective decision-making and risk management.
· Define and manage program management tooling, processes, workflows, and systems.
· Monitor and report on program/project performance, including KPIs, risks, and interdependencies.
· Act as a key liaison between leadership and projects to ensure alignment and transparency. Engage with stakeholders to agree project objectives, scope, budget, quality, resources and schedule.
· Responsible for the co-ordination and delivery for multiple projects running concurrently to meet the defined project objectives and milestones.
· End-to-end project responsibility ensuring successful delivery.
· Work with all external and internal stakeholders to ensure that all commitments are communicated and understood, ensuring the delivered project meets expectations.
· Work with the Kneat Operations team in prioritising projects.
· Gain an understanding of the R&D Tax Credit application process in order to manage R&D tax credit projects.
· Gain an understanding of ESG Directives in order to project manage ESG initiatives.
· Identifying and managing risks associated with projects, including resource constraints and stakeholder analysis.
· Regular reporting to management on project progress and KPIs.
· Commercial and operational management of a project portfolio.
· Contribution to the development and continuous improvement of the project management function.
Minimum qualifications
· Degree qualified with more than 5 years' experience in program/project management.
· Excellent project management skills with demonstrable experience in the delivery of cross-function projects and strategic initiatives.
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, think on your feet, and to engage in effective communications with both the business and technical stakeholders.
· Experience with implementing companywide software systems and technological innovations.
· Knowledgeable with contracting, billing and general project and services accounting governance.
· Comfortable working with change
· Creative problem-solving abilities
Nice to haves
· A project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2 would be beneficial.
· Strong English written and oral communication skills
· Would suit a strong candidate with experience in a regulated environment, such as life sciences, either directly or as a vendor.
· Good documentation and authoring ability
