Brilliant opportunity for a VAT Specialist to join a leading audit, tax, and advisory firm in the Northeast of Ireland. The successful VAT Specialist will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client base locally and internationally. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review VAT returns and ensure compliance with Irish VAT legislation
Assist in VAT planning, advisory, and consultancy projects
Liaise with clients, Revenue, and internal teams on VAT-related queries
Support VAT audits and manage responses to Revenue authorities
Identify VAT risks and opportunities across client portfolios
Contribute to process improvements and technical training initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
CTA qualified or Tax Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ VAT experience
Strong technical knowledge of Irish VAT
Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail
Client-focused, proactive, and a team player
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Salary & Benefits:
Salary up to €80k DOE
