Governance & Compliance Officer – 12-Month FTC

We are seeking a highly organised, detail-focused Governance & Compliance Officerto join a growing organisation in Santry, Dublin 9 on a12-month fixed-term contract (FTC).
Working Week:Option of4 or 5 days
This is aperfect role for candidates from financial serviceswithgraduate to 2 years’ experiencewho want tolean into a compliance-focused career, or for those already incompliance looking for a 12-month contractopportunity to broaden their experience.
You will play a key role in supporting governance structures, ensuring compliance frameworks are upheld, and contributing to the smooth running of the organisation’s governance functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and maintenance of governance frameworks and compliance processes
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the governance team
- Prepare reports, documentation, and records to required standards
- Assist with internal audits and compliance monitoring activities
- Maintain up-to-date policies, registers, and governance documentation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are met
- Support continuous improvement of governance processes and systems
- Ensure confidentiality and data integrity across all governance activities
Skills & Experience
- Graduate to 2 years’ experience infinancial services, compliance, governance, audit, policy, or a related administrative function
- Strong organisational and document-management skills
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow structured processes
- Strong communication skills — written and verbal
- Experience working with senior stakeholders is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
- After probation:Hybrid modelwith2 days WFHeach week
- Flexitime:Start between8am–10amand finish between4pm–6pm
- Option to work a4-day or 5-day week
