Location: Dublin based with possibility to work remotely part of the week.

Contract: Permanent, full-time (36 hours per week).

Salary: €35,909 per annum.

The Role

The Governance, Risk & Compliance Officer will support Oxfam Ireland in meeting its legal, regulatory, and ethical responsibilities across the island of Ireland. The role ensures that risks are identified and managed effectively, policies and procedures remain up to date, and staff understand and comply with relevant requirements.

By providing practical guidance, monitoring compliance, and maintaining clear records and reports, the post holder plays a vital role in safeguarding Oxfam Ireland’s integrity, protecting personal data, and supporting good governance across all activities.

Qualifications

- Demonstrable experience in a governance, risk, compliance, or data protection role.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain compliance requirements clearly.
