Accountancy Solutions is seeking a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their team and progress to manage and develop the finance function. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accountant to add value and make a strong contribution to the growth of the business.About the RoleThe ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a keen desire to progress to FC level, possessing excellent IT and interpersonal skills, as well as a proactive can-do attitude. They will have experience in preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting, systems development, and tax planning activities.Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for group companies
  • Assisting senior management with budgeting, systems development, and tax planning activities across the group
  • Ensuring balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and reconciled accurately and on a timely basis
  • Managing inter-company transactions
  • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies
  • Ongoing review and improvement of Internal Financial Controls
  • Management and development of the finance team
  • Ensuring organisation is compliant with Taxation and Statutory obligations
  • Managing Year-end Audit and interaction with auditors
  • Other ad hoc duties and projects as required
