Location: Ennis but travel may be required to health centers in west Clare
Duration: 5 months
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Temporary Physiotherapist (Staff Grade) to join our Primary Care team. The successful candidate will focus on providing high-quality physiotherapy services to adults with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions. This role involves assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs to enhance patient recovery and improve functional outcomes.
Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with MSK conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions to improve patient mobility, function, and quality of life.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
Educate patients and their families on exercises, self-care strategies, and preventive measures.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from a recognized institution.
CORU registration
Proven experience in adult or MSK physiotherapy, preferably in a primary care setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
