Senior Structural Precast Engineer

ATG are seeking a highly experienced Senior Structural Precast Engineer to join a growing team in Ireland. This role involves leading the design, analysis, and implementation of precast concrete structural systems for a variety of projects.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of precast concrete technology, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record in delivering large-scale structural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the structural design and engineering of precast concrete elements, including beams, columns, slabs, and wall panels.
- Perform detailed structural analysis and load calculations to ensure safety, stability, and compliance with Irish and European standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop and optimize precast concrete solutions tailored to project requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Manage the production process by coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency in the fabrication of precast elements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams.
- Ensure projects meet all relevant regulations, safety standards, and client expectations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful and timely delivery of projects.
- Review and approve designs, shop drawings, and structural calculations.
- Liaise with clients to provide technical support, address concerns, and present design solutions.
- Conduct site visits to monitor installation, address issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong focus on precast concrete.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and other relevant BIM tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Irish and European building codes and regulations.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading large-scale structural projects.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Chartered Engineer status is preferred.
