Maynooth University recently published an ambitious strategic plan where we have highlighted a commitment to a people-first culture as fundamental to its implementation. To enable the achievement of this, and our vision of excellence, opportunity, and impact, we are seeking to transform our HR function with an increased focus on strategic HR, effective business partnering, and internal customer service excellence. We will do this through:

1. Process and Technology

Under structure, we have identified a number of new HR roles we wish to add to the HR team. This is an exciting time to join our team of dedicated HR professionals as we pursue the achievement of our operational and strategic goals.

The HR Partner (HRP) will serve as an advisor and trusted partner to University leaders, providing HR support and guidance in the alignment of HR strategy, policy, and practice with University goals and objectives.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in a HR management role (ideally as a HR Partner), preferably in a public sector environment. Relevant experience in a Higher Education institute would be an advantage.

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.

Closing Date: 23:30hrs (local Irish time) on Sunday, 9th March 2025.
